Day of Hearts, Day for Forgiveness

Was It Worth It?

Valentines is a special day celebrated by not only lovers, but also loved ones like family members and friends. For me, it is when we show our love to our peers, not only romantically, but also platonically; Even if we think that we don't feel any love from the people we know, love doesn't always have to come from other people, but God himself is the whole definition of love and forgiveness.

A Fun Experience Despite The Tough Journey

As we began our Community Based Research, it's safe to say that I had fun, especially when I experienced it with good friends of mine. My overall experience of constructing this research was epic, and there are several photos I count as the highlight of my journey.

— In a world full of misunderstanding, collaboration will always be the key.

— Exploring and studying issues of a certain place can really help in trying to address them.

— The research wouldn't be complete without the excitement of meeting new people.

— Even at the busy time, I still managed to meet my friend's cat, which made me recharge my energy.

— Did you know that beside this establishment is actually the Sta. Catalina beach? While taking photos of things we needed, we also had a refreshment.

— Challenges had been faced, but decided to make the most of fun out of it.

Behind Every Warrior, Is A Child

I can say that I've learned various things in this quarter, and one of these included HTML lists, which are the ordered, unordered list, nested OL, nested UL, and nested OL UL tags. Moreover, we also tackled about the HTML frames. As our journey continued, before the year of 2024 ended, we had a glimpse of our next lesson; about CBR, or also known as Community Based Research. We had a fun experience in going to our assigned place, and also experienced to make our very own WebPage layout using the research paper that we constructed.

Even after all the fun we've encountered, there were also parts where we experienced difficulties. For example, when we had to make our CBR, we needed to have a spare time to insert it in our schedules, and had to figure out what must be placed in the paper. Next one was when we had to do our WebPage. We had difficulties in using CSS and finding appealing formats, especially on constructing the buttons of every Web Design.

I'm lucky to have numerous friends who helped
me in addressing the problems that I encountered. After all of this, I still look forward to our future ICT lessons and ought to do my best in performing all sorts of activities given by our ICT teacher, and ICT practice teacher. By learning new and such interesting things, I can say that I can apply these learnings when I reach a higher level.

Unity Among Nations

The vibrant Filipino culture is a mixture of different cultures from other nations or countries. It is because of it's contributions and influence in forming our country, or what we call "The Philippine Islands" to this day. While originating in Chinese traditions, the festival has been passed, and it's ethnic origins to become a significant addition, and is a widely celebrated event a cross the Philippine archipelago.

For many Filipinos, regardless of their ethnic heritage, the Lunar New Year evokes a sense of shared community and familial warmth. The exchange of ampao, symbolic red envelopes containing monetary gifts and well wishes, represents more than a simple transaction; it is a powerful expression of connection, a tangible symbol of the enduring bonds that unite families and neighbors. The celebratory feasts, a delightful fusion of culinary traditions, further exemplify this cultural synthesis, each dish carrying its own story and significance, passed down through generations.

It's more than just fun and food. It's about coming together, sharing good wishes, and looking forward to a fresh start. It's a celebration that brings everyone together, showing how different cultures can blend beautifully in the Philippines. It's a holiday that's both fun and meaningful, a special time for Filipinos of all backgrounds.

One of the Seven Wonders' Journey

Picture Vigan, a small town in the Philippines, a long time ago. Life was simple, everyone knew their neighbors, and the town held onto its old ways. It was a cozy place, full of history.

Then, things started to change. The town grew bigger, and people had new ideas about how to make it better. It wasn't always easy; there were disagreements and hard work, but everyone pulled together. They built new things, improved the town, and always remembered where they came from.

Now, Vigan is a lovely city. It's a special place where the old and the new get along. Visitors come from far away to see its beautiful old buildings, while the people who live there keep their traditions alive. It's a happy story about a town that grew up while staying true to itself.

Let Go to Blossom

"How fool I could be, thinking I wouldn't be the monster I've feared". How foolish can someone be to make resolutions without efforts? Thy shall prosper properly. New year means new beginning, and I plan on making better changes not only for myself, but others too.

It hasn't been an easy year, but I've made my mind to make these problems to be a lesson for this upcoming year. It's not about how much you know, it's about how much you learn more. I know to myself that I need to develop myself, as well as change.

I have bad traits, and I can't deny that. But changing isn't bad, creating a change simply means getting better. We must let go of the past, and only keep its memories. Learn from them, and keep learning for the future. Develop new hobbies, pick up a pet, or anything, really. Be yourself, be happy, be new.

A Jolly Christmas of Reflecting

As the year nears its end, a celebration for our Dear Jesus will never be forgotten. Despite the struggles, we still managed to find joy in sorrow. More challenges have arrived at that year, but grew up to be meaningful lessons to stay stronger in life.

This time's Christmas break, I approached it differently. I decided to explore out of the box. I did not just sit around and do nothing, but I helped my parents around the house, as it's the most simple thing I could do for them. Moreover, I also decided to help myself treating myself another three books of the year.

As soon as our Christmas break started, we were left with a Community Based Research (CBR), and a research problem solving to work with while being away in school; I took my time with it. At my free time, I would either read a book, or get on Roblox and play various different games with my friends.

Either way, I really enjoyed it, despite it being in a short period of time.
