We all live in a very beautiful, ever-changing world, a world of brilliance that warms our hearts and comforts us. Each of us faces and overcomes obstacles that would otherwise upset us. We are all on the same ship, regardless of gender, ethnicity or belief. But amazing people are an exception. The reason for our happiness in this world. These rare people exist for their care and upbringing. These magnificent beings are women and can make a difference.

Let's be honest, "gender equality" can feel like a distant, almost unattainable goal. But this Women's Month, the theme "WE for Gender Equality and an Inclusive Society" gives me hope. It's not just about women fighting for their rights; it's about all of us recognizing that a fairer world benefits everyone. Imagine a society where your gender doesn't dictate your opportunities, where your voice is heard, and where you feel safe and respected. That's the power of "WE." It's about teamwork, empathy, and a shared commitment to building something better, together.______________________________________
Think about it, equal pay, equal opportunities in education and leadership, an end to harassment and discrimination – these aren't just women's issues, they're human issues. It's about dismantling those invisible walls that hold us back, whether it's unconscious bias in the workplace or harmful stereotypes in the media. We need to actively challenge these things, not just tolerate them. And that means having uncomfortable conversations, listening to different perspectives, and being willing to change our own behaviors.______________________________________

As a student currently in the 10th grade, foreseeing my future at the moment would be a struggle, as I am still unable to process my decisions in life. But as for now, my main ambition and goal would be to be able to finish my studies and provide for my loved ones.
It isn't rare for Filipinos to have various events and festivals all over the place, but the contents of these different festivals will always be unique in their own way, as every single one of them highlights something special about that place. Kannawidan, also known as Ilocos Sur Festival nowadays is a festival celebrated in the Ilocos Sur. It does not only consist of one place or municipality, but Ilocos Sur as a whole. This is the festival where every place that are included in Ilocos Sur gets so share their culture and pride, on what makes them unique and special.
Valentines is a special day celebrated by not only lovers, but also loved ones like family members and friends. For me, it is when we show our love to our peers, not only romantically, but also platonically; Even if we think that we don't feel any love from the people we know, love doesn't always have to come from other people, but God himself is the whole definition of love and forgiveness.
As the year nears its end, a celebration for our Dear Jesus will never be forgotten. Despite the struggles, we still managed to find joy in sorrow. More challenges have arrived at that year, but grew up to be meaningful lessons to stay stronger in life.
Either way, I really enjoyed it, despite it being in a short period of time.
Even though I, myself enjoyed this quarter, there were still problems that I've encountered. For example, in coding in the notepad both in our school and at home, I struggled in finding where the issue is located, may it be in between the paragraphs, or in between sentences. I didn't have much struggles, since I was dedicated in constructing my own websites using the things I've learned in school as basis, and making it broader by teaching myself on how to do things.
Throughout this quarter, despite many challenges, I can say that I enjoyed it overall, may it be on the good or bad aspects. Struggling is a part of growing, so instead of giving up, I learned that I should adapt instead. With these learnings, I can apply these information on real life situations.

Elpidio Quirino, the sixth Philippine president, had a fascinating life. Born simply in Vigan, he worked hard, became a lawyer, and made his way into politics. He climbed the ranks, serving in the House and Senate before becoming Vice President. When President Roxas died, he stepped up to lead the country.
His presidency wasn't easy – he faced the aftermath of World War II and a rebellion. But he focused on rebuilding the economy, helping farmers, and improving infrastructure. He tried to bring the country together and make life better for everyone.
While there were tough times and controversies, Quirino's legacy is one of dedication to his country. He showed that even starting from humble beginnings, you can make a real difference. He might not be as famous as other presidents, but his contributions to the Philippines deserve to be remembered.
October is Indigenous Peoples Month in the Philippines! This year's theme, "Valuing, Nurturing, and Honoring Indigenous Peoples and Indigenous Knowledge," is especially important as we mark the 27th anniversary of the Indigenous Peoples Rights Act (IPRA). It's a time to celebrate the amazing diversity of Indigenous cultures and acknowledge the ongoing fight for their rights. We need to listen to their stories, understand their challenges (like land grabbing and environmental destruction), and work together to protect their ancestral lands and traditions.
This month isn't just about awareness; it's about action. Events and discussions give Indigenous communities a voice, helping everyone understand their struggles and contributions. It's a chance to build bridges and challenge unfair treatment. Let's use this time to really make a difference.
The real work lies in continued support and collaboration. IPRA is a good start, but we need to keep pushing for its stronger implementation and ensuring Indigenous communities have the power to protect their own futures. Let's celebrate their culture, honor their knowledge, and work together for a more just and equitable Philippines.
